Al-Mughni
The Enricher, who frees from need and makes sufficient whom He wills.
About
Al-Mughni shares the root gh-n-y with al-Ghaniyy. Al-Ghaniyy is the One who is rich in Himself; al-Mughni is the One who makes others rich and frees them from need. The two names are often reflected on together as a complementary pair.
The enrichment Allah gives is not limited to material means. Freeing the heart from dependence on others, and granting inner richness and contentment, also fall within this name. A well-known hadith of the Prophet states that real wealth is not an abundance of possessions, but richness of the soul.
This meaning appears in Surah An-Najm, verse 48: He is the One who enriches and suffices. In Surah Ad-Duha, the Prophet is reminded that he was found in need and made self-sufficient, a reminder that recognizing past blessings brings confidence for the present.

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
