Al-Maajid
The Glorious, whose honor is exalted and whose generosity is abundant.
About
Al-Maajid comes from the root m-j-d, "to excel in honor and nobility, to be vast in generosity." In Arabic, the word majd joins the idea of glory with that of abundant, open-handed giving.
The Name describes God as exalted in His essence and His acts, with that exaltedness showing itself as generosity toward His servants. The One whose glory is highest reveals His greatness through giving.
The form Al-Maajid does not occur in the Qur'an, but Al-Majid, from the same root and very close in meaning, does. Surah Al-Buruj calls Him the "Honorable Owner of the Throne," and in Surah Hud the angels tell the household of Abraham that He is "Praiseworthy and Honorable."

And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, Honorable Owner of the Throne, …
They said, "Are you amazed at the decree of Allah? May the mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Honorable."
Reflection
True honor is not found in keeping what you have to yourself, but in being able to give from it. Whether your means are great or small, the way you share them shapes your character. Remember that generosity is not only material: your time, your attention and a kind word are gifts too. Letting someone feel valued today can be a small reflection of this glory.
