Al-Wajid
The Finder, who lacks nothing and finds whatever He wills.
About
Al-Wajid comes from the root w-j-d, "to find, to obtain." It expresses that God never loses anything, that whatever He wills is present with Him, and that He is never in a state of lack or want.
The Name also carries a sense of richness and sufficiency. People can lose things and fail to find what they seek; God is never deprived of what He wills. Some scholars explained this Name as close in meaning to Al-Ghani, the Self-Sufficient.
Al-Wajid does not appear in this form in the Qur'an; it is included in the list of Beautiful Names transmitted in hadith. Its root, however, is common in the Qur'an. Surah Ad-Duha reminds the Prophet how God "found" him an orphan, lost and in need, and gave him refuge, guidance and sufficiency.

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? And He found you lost and guided [you], And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
Reflection
