About
Al-Azim comes from the root '-z-m, meaning to be great, significant and majestic. Al-Azim is the One who is great beyond every limit and measure, in His essence and in His attributes.
In the Qur'an, this name often appears together with Al-Aliyy. Surah Ash-Shura states that whatever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and that "He is the Most High, the Most Great." Surah Al-Waqi'ah closes with the call: "So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great." Ayat al-Kursi ends with the same words (Al-Baqarah 2:255).
This name helps a person see both their own limits and the greatness that surrounds them. Before His greatness, worldly worries return to their true size.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and He is the Most High, the Most Great.
So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

Try looking at something that worries you from a little distance today. When you look at the sky, the stars or a wide landscape, how big do your troubles seem?
